It's a culture clash of east & southwest. Above and out of the picture is a sugar skull with saloon style guns. Adding a dead geisha into the picture meant combining styles and cultures some more. I wonder how we're gonna fit the last samurai in? Just kidding. No but seriously it's interesting to think about the British imperialization of Japan... when it wasn't ok to impose a culture upon another culture. But that's not what I'm trying to do here. :)
